We designed a wireless food thermometer for ECTHERM and developed the associated cooking app. The app provides users with a step by step guide to cooking various meats intuitively and to the point. It then monitors the temperature of the meat and sends it to the app in real time. The app also allows custom controls over many settings such as temperature, time and doneness level. A temperature graph displays the temperature visually and users can also share their cooking results with friends through a messaging function.
