It has become increasingly easy to monitor and control home devices remotely through the smart phone. No matter if lighting, blinds or electricity consumption, the future is looking bright for intelligent homes and connected ioT devices. The new smart lock for example allows people secure keyless entry to their homes. The highly configurable lock works either with an RFID card, a numeric keypad, or Bluetooth access. Door access can be controlled via an intelligent mobile app. From the app’s dashboard one can control many more settings with ease, like for example setting up new users and even generating time-specified e-keys that can be send to guests via SMS.

In addition, different keys can be generated for the same lock, so a homeowner monitor when family members went in or our, or when the housekeeper arrived.

Through the smart plugs, home owners can monitor the power supply on each socket via smartphone app or speaker assistant like the Google Assistant or Alexa. Smart switches on the other hand can be controlled to dim the lights remotely to certain preset settings. But of cause these smart plugs can be made to do much more things when reacting to other environmental sensors and connected devices.
